‘Ballballsquid’ and ‘Blue Ring Ballballsquid,’ by 78jo, Available For Preorder Now!

Ballballsquid is here and ready to ink!

Collectors have seen their fair share of sea life recently, however this latest release by 78jo really challenges the rest in the cuteness department!  BallBallsquid, the latest addition to the Ballball family is sure to not only bring smiles, but also defend the collection with their inky friends as well!

You no doubt remember 78jo and the Ballball series from their incredibly successful Fuji Ballballbird, but if not, we’ve got you covered! You can read our short and sweet 78jo artist interview.

Originally made for Hong Kong’s Ilusfair art show, Ballballsquid has already come and gone (mostly!). But never ones to disappoint, 78jo has already released a second variant, Blue Ring Ballballsquid! Will you add him to your tank?

Ballballsquids are made of vinyl, with resin tentacles. They come in at 14 cm tall and are ready to go with the two Ballballinks!  Armed with smiles, who wouldn’t befriend these three?

OG squid’s order window has closed-ish (more on that below), but Blue Ring Ballballsquid can be purchased directly from 78jo until April 30 for $65 + $12 worldwide shipping. Message them on Instagram or Facebook to inquire.

Normally 78jo’s Ballball family is only available directly from the artists, but this time around both variants of Ballballsquid are still available for preorder from Strangecat Toys! The original colorway is $70 and the Blue Ring is $75. Shipping is estimated June 2021.
